Inter owned striker Mauro Icardi is at the centre of a controversy surrounding his birthday party and Paris Saint Germain teammates, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how on Icardi threw a large party to celebrate his 27th birthday, with his teammates and wife/agent Wanda Nara all in attendance. Yesterday morning a few videos appeared of some Paris Saint Germain players, like Icardi, Edison Cavani and Angel Di Maria, shirtless with beers and loud Latin music playing in the middle of the night.
Inter didn’t wish the player a happy birthday on their social media outlets, the report continues. Neither did any of his former Inter teammates, which clearly shows the rift between Icardi and the Milanese club. Both the club’s management and their fans are furious with the situation, especially after their 2-1 loss to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League earlier this week.
