Inter have assured to Ionut Andrei Radu that he will be the club’s back-up goalkeeper for next season according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The young Romanian goalkeeper spent the first half of the season out on loan at Genoa but lost his place to Mattia Perin early on in January. Rather than leave him in Liguria not playing, Inter recalled him and loaned him out to Parma for the second half of the season.

Parma made perfect sense for the youngster as their number one goalkeeper Luigi Sepe went down injured thus meaning it was more than likely that Radu would be starting every week in his absence.

However this has not been the case with Parma manager Roberto D’Aversa preferring Simone Colombi and Radu has not made a single appearance.

Radu is understood to be discontent with his current situation and as per the report, he does have some regrets over his decision to join them over other clubs who showed an interest especially given had he not been loaned back out by Inter, he would, in all likelihood have played in recent weeks instead of Daniele Padelli.
