Samuele Longo has admitted he is not thinking about his future but rather just playing with consistency whilst out on loan at Serie B side Venezia from Inter.

The 28-year-old striker joined the second tier side at the end of the recent January transfer window on loan until the end of the season and has gotten off to a good start for Arancioneroverdi scoring two goals and tallying one assist in his first four appearances for the club.

“I am feeling very good here. From the first day I was welcomed into the group and I feel appreciated. Here I can work calmly,” he began an interview with TuttoB.com.

“The future? I am not looking too far ahead for now. I am focused on the coming months at Venezia and I want to find the consistency that I have so far lacked. I am sure I will find it if I continue to work how I have been.”

Longo is a product of Inter’s youth academy and joined the team in the Summer of 2019 and under 19 level. He has made just two competitive appearances in all his time with the Nerazzurri due to the fact he has had a total of 13 loan spells, including this current loan deal.

The former Italy under 21 national team player’s contract with Inter is due to expire at the end of next season and reports elsewhere in the media have suggested that Venezia have been so impressed with him that they are already thinking about a loan move for next season.
