Inter are one several clubs in the race to sign KAA Gent starlet Jonathan David according to a report from Transfermarkt.it.
The Nerazzurri had a scout present at the Belgian side’s recent Europa League match with Roma and are understood to be facing competition from Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, Ajax, Bayer Leverkusen, Manchester United, Porto, Lyon and Everton for his signature.
As per the report, KAA Gent want €25 million for the American-born full Canadian international which would be a Belgian Pro League transfer record.
The 20-year-old has been with the Belgian side since the Summer of 2018 following a move from Canadian outfit Ottawa Internationals and is under contract at the Ghelamaco Stadium until the end of the 2022/23 season.
This season David has made 37 appearances across all competitions for De Buffalo. In little under 3000 minutes on the field, he has scored a total of 22 goals and provided 10 assists for teammates whilst primarily playing as an attacking midfielder.
