Lega Serie A have provisionally re-scheduled Inter’s postponed match with Sampdoria for Wednesday May 20 but the date will be revised according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
The match between the Nerazzurri and Blucerchiati clubs was one of four to be postponed by Lega Serie A this past weekend due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in Italy.
Neither Inter nor Lega Serie A want the match played on the above date due to how close it is until the end of the season but due to Inter’s involvement in the Coppa Italia and Europa League, finding a suitable date has proved difficult and it would appear that the revised date will depend on how the Nerazzurri do in those competitions.
The report goes on to state that Torino vs Parma and Hellas Verona vs Cagliari will both be played on Wednesday 11 March, whilst Atalanta vs Sassuolo will be played on 18 March.
