Inter central midfielder Borja Valero has shared his belief that he and his Inter teammates have prepared well for tomorrow’s Europa League round of 32 second leg match at home to Ludogorets.

The Nerazzurri come into this second leg in a very good position to progress having won the first leg in Razgrad, Bulgaria, 2-0 last week with thanks to goals from Christian Eriksen and Romelu Lukaku.

Inter have had some extra time between the first leg and tomorrow’s match due to this past Sunday’s Serie A match against Sampdoria being postponed as a result of the Coronavirus problem in Italy and Valero insists the team have put the extra time to good use.

“We have trained well and we have prepared for the match well and we hope to put in a good performance,” the 35-year-old Spaniard explained in an interview with Inter’s official club broadcaster Inter TV.

He went went on to speak more about the game itself which will be played behind closed doors at San Siro.

“The help the fans give at San Siro is important. It is full every game and we will miss it. We will give our best. We are not children, we will not take the match lightly. We must do our best and must be serious. I am doing good and I will try to make a contribution.”

In conclusion he was asked about this coming Sunday’s Derby D’Italia against Juventus: “We don’t think about it, it is only right to think about tomorrow.”
