Roma could make a move for Hellas Verona defender Davide Faraoni in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

The Giallorossi club had shown an interest in signing him at the end of the recent January transfer window and wanted to take him on loan with an option to buy but Hellas Verona responded demanding it be an obligation to buy.

Due to how late in the window this all happened, there was no time for the clubs to come to an agreement over the 28-year-old full back but things could be different this Summer.

As per the report, the two clubs could come to an agreement over a deal that could be worth up to €5 million.

Roma are not alone in having an interest in signing Faraoni with other reports in the media in recent months suggesting that Inter are also interested.

This season Faraoni has made 25 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored three goals and contributed three assists.
