The match official appointments for this week’s Coppa Italia semi final action have been confirmed with Daniele Doveri assigned to referee Inter’s match away to Napoli.

The 42-year-old will referee his 18th game across all competitions to date this Thursday at the Stadio San Paolo and it will be the fourth time that he referees matches involving both Napoli and Inter this season.

Doveri was referee for Napoli’s match day seven, 18 and 24 matches in Serie A against Torino, Inter and Cagliari, which they drew 0-0, lost 3-1 and won 1-0 in respectively.

Doveri was meanwhile in charge of Inter’s match day four and 18 matches in Serie A against AC Milan and Napoli as well as their Coppa Italia quarter final match with Fiorentina which they won 2-0, 3-1 and 2-1 respectively.

Stefano Del Giovane and Dario Cecconi will be Doveri’s assistants whilst Maurizio Mariani will be the fourth official for the match. Massimiliano Irrati will be in charge of VAR and will have Alessandro Giallatini alongside to assist him.
