Inter management have identified two players who could possibly be the replacement for number one goalkeeper Samir Handanovic according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

The 35-year-old shot-stopper is out of contract with Inter come the end of next season and although reports have suggested he will prolong his contract by a further season, one thing is clear and that is that he will not be around forever and Inter are therefore taking steps toward finding his replacement.

Udinese’s Juan Musso and Napoli’s Alex Meret are both believed to be on Inter’s shortlist of potential replacements for the Slovenian international, who has been with the club since the Summer of 2012.

25-year-old Musso has been with Udinese since the Summer of 2018 and has been pretty much ever present for the Bianconeri club since his arrival. He has made 55 appearances across all competitions in which he has conceded 78 and kept 15 clean sheets.

As for Meret, he has been with Napoli since the Summer of 2018 and has made 42 appearances across all competitions for them, in which he has conceded 45 goals and kept 15 clean sheets.
