Juventus Duo Pjanic & Bonucci Could Start On The Bench Against Inter

Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri could start Miralem Pjanic and Leonardo Bonucci on the bench in the Bianconeri club’s upcoming match against Inter according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Sarri planned on resting both players for the Coppa Italia second leg clash against AC Milan but the match that was due to be played last night was postponed due to the ongoing Coronavirus epidemic in Italy.

He could therefore rest the Bosnian midfielder and Italian defender for the match against their Nerazzurri arch rivals, which is expected to take place this weekend although it is as yet unclear which day it will be played on.

The report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state the Bonucci being rested largely depends on whether or not Giorgio Chiellini will be back for the match.

It also goes on to state that Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala are almost certain to start in attack. If Sarri goes with a 4-3-3, Juan Cuadrado will be there too but if he goes with a 4-3-1-2, one of Federico Bernardeschi and Aaron Ramsey will play in behind them.
