The difference in player values means a straight up swap between Inter and Torino this Summer involving Andrea Pinamonti and Armando Izzo is not possible at the moment according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Pinamonti joined Genoa on a season long loan with obligation to buy this past Summer from Inter and is now a Genoa player after their obligation to buy kicked in after they obtained their first point after the January transfer window.

Inter are however due to bring him back to the club in the Summer for a sum of €20 million, a fee the two clubs agreed as part of a gentleman’s agreement.

Whilst Pinamonti is valued at €20 million, the report from the Turin based newspaper goes on to state that Torino president Urbano Cairo values Italian national team defender Izzo at €30 million.

It is as yet unclear how the clubs will surpass this hurdle. They could potentially just come to an agreement to value both players at the same amount, as often happens in straight swap deals, or Inter could ultimately add some cash on top.
