Manchester United are set to sell Alexis Sanchez, Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard in the summer in order to fund two important deals, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the British newspaper the Express.
The report details how the Red Devils are keen to sign Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho and Aston Villa talisman Jack Grealish in the summer and so will sell the three players in order to provide the funds for the deals.
Sanchez, who is currently on loan at Inter from the Manchester based club, doesn’t find coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans and so he hopes to sell the player in order to start fixing the club’s wage bill and start a squad rebuild.
Sanchez has made 15 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 596 minutes. In that time, he’s scored one goal and provided three assists. He suffered a peroneus tendon injury whilst on international duty with Chile, forcing him to miss 17 games.
