Bayern Munich are still looking to sign Inter owned forward Ivan Perisic this summer, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews today.

The report details how the German side are still looking to enact the buy option on the 31-year-old Croatian forward, despite the fact that he’s missed the last eight games due to an ankle injury suffered in training. €20 million is the figure agreed between the two clubs last summer, not €25 million as some suggested in recent days.

Perisic himself is happy to stay at Bayern, the report continues, despite the fact that his main sponsor, Niko Kovac, was dismissed earlier this season. Inter could even potentially let Perisic join the German club for only €15 million, in order to secure the sale.

Perisic has made 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1200 minutes. In that time, he’s scored five goals and provided eight assists.
