All 20 Serie A clubs are in agreement that they want the 2019/20 season played to completion according to a report from Italian news agency ANSA.

The Lega Serie A spoke with representatives of all member clubs today via conference call and started the meeting by thanking the clubs for the efforts they have made to help in the fight against Coronavirus with several clubs having made donations.

Inter have made several donations in the form of cash and protective masks and have also launched a global fundraiser which the players and the staff of the club have already contributed no less than €500,000 to.

At the meeting all clubs reaffirmed their desire to resume the league campaign as soon as possible and this is the stance the Lega Serie A will take into tomorrow’s meeting with European football’s governing body UEFA.

The report goes on to add that in the coming days, work groups will be set up which will work on medical, technical-sports, institutional relations and risk assessment issues for the clubs and for the Lega Serie A itself.

It also goes on to state that UEFA could allow for league campaigns to run past June 30.
