Former Paris Saint Germain player Jerome Rothen has claimed that Inter linked Thomas Meunier has already agreed to join Borussia Dortmund in the upcoming Summer transfer window.
Meunier’s contract with Paris Saint Germain is due to expire at the end of the current season thus meaning he is free to join a new club on a free transfer.
The Belgian full back has drawn links to several clubs in recent weeks and months due to this and as per Rothen, who spent six years with the Parc des Princes club between 2004 and 2010, Meunier has agreed terms to join the German giants.
“He has signed for Dortmund. I can tell you that information for certain,” he told French broadcaster RMC Sport last night.
This season the 28-year-old has made 27 appearances across all competitions. In 2135 minutes on the field, Meunier, who joined PSG from Club Brugge back in 2016, has contributed a single goal and provided two assists.
With Inter having missed out upon Meunier, it now remains to be seen who they will go in for instead.
