Inter have sent their players meals in order to ensure their physical fitness whilst undergoing the home isolation, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews yesterday.
The report details how there has been a total cancellation of sporting activities in Italy due to the Coronavirus emergency. Serie A, like many other leagues across Europe, has been postponed in order to stop the spread of the contagion. Now there have been many doubts about how the league will be finished and what would happen to this summer’s European Championships. UEFA will meet with 55 football federations tomorrow to discuss the next steps.
Inter, in order to ensure that all their players are healthy and following their diets, have sent food to their players, the report continues. The meals were cooked at the training ground at Appiano Gentile and were delivered to the players’ homes. Many Inter players have made posts on social media calling for Italian people to remain at home.
