Inter lead a whole host of clubs in the race to sign Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla according to a report from Passione Inter.

20-year-old Kumbulla has been one of the biggest revelations of the Serie A season and is at the top of Inter’s wish list when it comes to defensive reinforcements.

Inter are facing a lot of competition both domestically and abroad for the Italian born Albanian national team centre back who Hellas Verona want at least €25 million for, the report states.

Fellow Serie A clubs Lazio and Napoli are both also keen on the youngster whilst RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmun, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are all also keen on him.

Inter could perhaps be considered to have a slight advantage over their competition due to the fact they have very good relations with Hellas Verona due to the deals done for Eddie Salcedo and Federico Dimarco in recent transfer windows.
