Inter had a scout watch Olympiacos defender Kostas Tsimkas last month according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Nerazzurri club are on the lookout for a new left back / left wing back with Kwadwo Asamoah set to leave the club at the end of the season and Cristiano Biraghi’s future with the club also up in the air.
Inter sent a scout to watch Tsimkas in action in Olympiacos’s 1-0 away win over PAOK Thessaloniki on February 23 and the report states that Inter are not the only Italian club to have taken an interest in signing him.
As per the report, Inter face competition for the 23-year-old Greek national team player who Olympiacos value at around €20 million.
The report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that Inter also have an interest in Getafe midfielder Mauro Arambarri. Inter will get a chance when the season resumes to see him close up with them set to take on Arambarri’s side in the Europa League.
