Chelsea are willing to give Olivier Giroud a one year contract extension but the player is seeking a two year deal according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

Giroud has attracted interest from several clubs elsewhere due to the fact his contract expires at the end of the season. Inter are among those club and are understood to have tabled him a two year contract offer.

Inter have good relations with the 2018 World Cup winner’s agent Michael Manuello due to their dealings in the January transfer window when Inter went in for Giroud and the Nerazzurri are believed to have offered him a contract with a total worth of €5 million.

Inter are not alone in keeping tabs on the former Arsenal player though with the report going on to state that Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on signing him.

This season the 33-year-old has been limited to 13 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored three goals.
