Inter manager Antonio Conte is the second highest paid manager worldwide according to a report from French news outlet France Football.

Former Inter midfielder and current Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is currently the highest paid manager on the planet with him receiving an annual gross salary of €40.5 million, €10.5 million more than Conte earns per season at Inter, who he took charge of this past Summer.

The third highest paid manager is Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola with him earning a gross salary of €27 million a season.

The report also highlights the top three highest paid players in the world. Barcelona’s Lionel Messi is the highest paid with a gross annual salary of €131 million, Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo is second with a gross annual salary of €118 million and Paris Saint Germain’s Neymar is third with an annual gross salary of €95 million.

Moreover the report states the highest paid female players too with the highest paid female player being Sky Blue FC’s Carli Lloyd, who earns an annual gross salary of €400,000.
