Inter will only agree to resume playing this season if they receive ample assurance from a health point of view according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.

The Serie A season has been on hold for a number of weeks now due to the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic and it remains completely unknown as to whether or not it will resume given the circumstances.

The Milan based newspaper go on to report that it remains unknown how much Inter players may need to sacrifice in terms of wages as it will be determined by whether the season resumes or not.

Inter’s annual wage bill totals €150 million and the club could make a significant saving if the season does not resume whatsoever, just like Juventus have.

The Bianconeri club recently reached an agreement with their players that will see them waive their wages for March, April, May and June which means they will save a sum of €90 million.
