Lega Serie A have called an emergency meeting for this coming Friday in order to discuss a number of issues according to a report from Italian news agency ANSA.

Lega Serie A met with the Italian players association (AIC) last night in order to hold talks over the issue of player salaries being reduced to help mitigate the financial damage that has been caused by the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic.

The issue of player salaries being reduced will be one of the topics on Friday’s agenda and the other topic will be an update on possible ways in which the 2019/20 season can be concluded.

A number of dates and possible solutions have already been thrown out there by some people with power such as Italian football federation president Gabriele Gravina whilst there has been no shortage of speculation in the media about what may or may not happen with the campaign.
