Inter and Fiorentina could do a deal over Radja Nainggolan in the coming months according to a report in today’s print edition of La Nazione.

Nainggolan is currently out on loan at Cagliari but it is highly unlikely that he will complete a permanent switch to the Sardinian club who cannot afford the transfer fee nor his big wages too.

The report states that due to this, Inter are at work trying to offload the Belgian midfielder and could send him to Fiorentina.

Inter could loan the 31-year-old to La Viola for a season with an obligation to buy attached which would be set at €20 million.

This season Nainggolan has made 24 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored five goals and provided six assists.

The report goes on to state that Nainggolan is one of three midfielders currently on Fiorentina management’s radar ahead of the Summer transfer window with AC Milan’s Giacomo Bonaventura and Atalanta’s Ruslan Malinovski being the other two players.

It also claims that Inter could well grant Fiorentina a discount for Nainggolan if they are to pull out of the race to sign Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla.
