Legendary Inter striker has heaped praise upon current Inter striker Romelu Lukaku as part of a live chat with the Belgian forward which was broadcast live on Inter’s official Instagram profile this evening.

“I promise to come and see you as soon as possible at Appiano Gentilo. You are a great player, you already know that. You have now taken my place, I am happy for you and also for Inter. I hope you do well. Milan is a wonderful city, the fans are always with us when we need it,” he began.

Next he spoke on how he felt when he first played at San Siro as an Inter player.

“I was anxious, it was a dream come true and the fans gave me a warm welcome. I looked more at them than the ball.”

He then went on to state which goal he thinks was the best one he scored during his tenure with the Nerazurri and which goal comes a close second for him.

“I would say the goal against Real Madrid comes first and then that solo effort against Udinese at the Meazza.”

Next he spoke on a game that he thinks he will remember for the rest of his life: “The derby won against AC Milan was a spectacular thing. I still remember that header. It was fantastic.”

In conclusion he spoke on whether or not he always felt comfortable whilst in Milan.

“Inter has always been a family for me. Moratti has been very important for me and for everyone.”

The now 38-year-old had two spells with Inter totalling six years. During his spells with the club, the former Brazilian national team player made a total of 177 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored 74 goals and provided 27 assists for his teammates.
