Inter have reached an agreement with promising academy player Lucien Agoume over a new contract according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.
The highly rated French youth national team midfielder joined the club this past Summer from French outfit Sochaux and having now turned 18-years-old he is eligible to sign a professional contract.
Agoume’s current contract with the club runs until the end of the 2022/23 season but as per the report, he will sign a four year professional deal which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
Agoume, who has been widely compared to Manchester United and compatriot Paul Pogba, has played most of his football this term at youth level but has had some first team experience.
He was given some chances to impress during pre-season and also made a six minute cameo appearance for the first team earlier on this season in Serie A.
