Inter are one of the many clubs interested in Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Spanish newspaper As.

The report details how many clubs are interested in the 26-year-old Ghanaian midfielder, including Arsenal and Manchester United, as well as Inter and Roma. The player’s contracted to the club until 2023, but only has a €50 million release clause, a low figure considering his qualities.

The Spanish side offered the player a new contract in October, the report continues, but it has not been accepted yet, despite the increased salary, which was attached to an increase of at least €10 million to the release clause.

Thomas has made 35 appearances across all competitions so far this season for Atletico, for a total of 2859 minutes. In that time, he has scored three goals and provided one assist, being a core part of the club’s midfield under coach Diego Simeone.
