The majority of the Inter squad who left Italy to return to their native countries have returned, apart from Uruguayan defender Diego Godin, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The report details how the following squad players have returned to Milan in preparation for a return to training: Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen, Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, Slovenian shot stopper Samir Handanovic, Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, Nigerian winger Victor Moses and English full back Ashley Young.
Godin is expected to return either tomorrow or on Monday, the report continues. The reason for his delay is due to the transcontinental flight, which has more safety requirements.
The players will return to training at home and will continue following the controlled diet, waiting for the green light so they can return to work. The Italian government has suggested that training could resume on May 4th.
