Juventus are looking to sign Fiorentina talisman Federico Chiesa as soon as possible, but Inter are providing strong competition, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how Nerazzurri coach Antonio Conte is incredibly keen on the 22-year-old Italian winger, dreaming in seeing him in an Inter shirt. The Milanese club would be equally happy to sign Italian midfielder Gaetano Castrovilli as well, for what could be a double deal worth around €100 million.

The biggest obstacle is the wishes of Fiorentina, the report continues, as president Rocco Commisso has no interest in losing the two Viola stars. Despite this, both Inter and Juventus are confident that they can secure Chiesa’s signature in the summer.

The 22-year-old, who is contracted to the Florence based club until 2022, has made 26 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2117 minutes.
