Inter have already made a move to sign Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Verona based newspaper L’Arena.
The report details how the 20-year-old Albanian defender, who is contracted to the Gialloblu until 2022, is set to be the centre of attention in the upcoming summer transfer window, with multiple clubs interested in signing him, including Napoli.
Inter are looking to sign the player as a young replacement for the aging Diego Godin, the report continues, although the club may place Kumbulla back on loan at Verona next season as well. The Nerazzurri are also considering signing Belgian defender Jan Vertonghen, whose contract is expiring with Tottenham at the end of the season.
The price for Kumbulla has been set at around €20 million, the report continues, as well as the renewal off the loans of Italian full back Federico Dimarco and Italian forward Eddie Salcedo.
