A report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset analysed what the restart of the season will look like for fans.

The report details how indications are emerging that the season could be restarted at the end of May, with a return to training set for the first week of that month. It is certain that the remaining games will be played behind closed doors, at least until Christmas, affecting the start of next season as well. Some games could also be played on a neutral pitch in May and June, depending on how dangerous it is in the most affected areas in the north of the country.

Teams like Atalanta and Brescia may be forced to play their home games away from home, the report continues. The lack of fans will also have financial effects on the clubs, with losses of between €75-95 million expected. These figures don’t include the losses of playing behind closed doors at the start of next season.
