Napoli have identified Atalanta’s Timothy Castagne as a potential replacement for Faouzi Ghoulam should he leave the club in the coming months according to a report in today’s print edition of Il Mattino.
Ghoulam has drawn some links over moves elsewhere in the media recently and Napoli are seemingly ready to transfer list him at the end of the season.
The Stadio San Paolo club have meanwhile identified Castagne as a player who could replace the Algerian national team full back but the report claims that Napoli are not alone in courting the Belgian national team defender.
Il Mattino specifically state that both Inter and AC Milan are also keen on him as they look to bolster their full back department whilst other reports in the media have linked him with the likes of Premier League side Leicester City.
This season the 24-year-old has made 19 appearances across all competitions, in which he has scored two goals and provided as many assists.
