Inter and AC Milan look set to battle it out for several players among themselves in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter are on the look-out for a goalkeeper capable of coming in as back-up to Samir Handanovic initially before eventually succeeding him whilst AC Milan are also looking at goalkeepers they could move for if current number one Gianluigi Donnarumma leaves the club.
Napoli’s Alex Meret and Udinese’s Juan Musso are on both clubs radars and the report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that highly rated River Plate centre back Lucas Martinez Quarta is also a target for both the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri clubs.
The 23-year-old has a €22 million release clause in his current contract with the Superliga Argentina side but his agent Gustavo Goni has recently admitted that clubs may be able to acquire his client for a little less than that.
