Inter and AC Milan have given the green light to play away from their San Siro home if the season resumes without games being played in the north of Italy according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.

The football season is currently on hold due to the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic and it remains to be seen whether or not it will be possible for it to resume.

There has been no shortage of suggestions when it comes to how the season could safely resume with one of the suggestions being not playing any games at all in the north of the country, which has been the worst impacted by the virus.

Inter and AC Milan, alongside other clubs such as Atalanta and Brescia, would have to play the remainder of their games away from home and the report states that Inter and AC Milan are willing to do this due to their belief that health and safety should come first.
