Racing Club are keeping a close eye on Inter striker Lautaro Martinez’s situation due to the fact they will be due a percentage of any sale according to a report from Argentine news outlet Infobae.
The Superliga Argentina side sold the highly rated 22-year-old to Inter back in the Summer of 2018 in a circa €20 million deal and as part of the deal they secured a clause which entitles them to 10% of any transfer deal worth over €14 million.
Therefore, if Lautaro’s €111 million release clause is paid, Racing Club could make as much as €9.7 million. They may make even more though because as per the report, if other players are included in the deal too their values will be incorporated into the overall price.
This season Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists.
