Real Betis have reignited their previous interest in signing Inter owned midfielder Joao Mario according to a report from Spanish news outlet Estadio Deportivo.
Betis have shown an interest in landing the Portuguese midfielder in past transfer windows and they are once again interested in adding him to their ranks.
The 27-year-old is currently out on loan at Russian Premier League side Lokomotiv Moscow, who have an option to sign him on a permanent basis but are not interested in doing so for the agreed amount of €18 million.
They are however interested in signing him permanently and the report goes on to add that Ligue 1 club Marseille are also keen on signing the EURO 2016 winner.
This season the former Sporting player has made 15 appearances across all competitions to date whilst in the Russian capital. In just shy of 1300 minutes on the park, he has scored one goal and has also provided four assists.
