All 20 Serie A clubs have voted unanimously in favour of resuming and concluding the 2019/20 season if the government allow it, Lega Serie A have just announced following a meeting which was held earlier on today with the clubs.
The Lega Serie A council voted unanimously in favour of the season starting up again and finishing last night and all of the clubs have now also gotten on board although it remains to be seen when the season could possibly resume given the ongoing global Coronavirus pandemic, which forced football to a halt in the first place just over a month ago.
Lega Serie A have confirmed that the resumption of training and matches will all take place within the guidelines provided by world football’s governing body FIFA and European football’s governing body UEFA.
Moreover, training and the season will resume in line with the medical protocol put together by the Italian football federation (FIGC).
