Paris Saint Germain have decided that they will not take up the option they have to sign on loan Mauro Icardi up on a permanent basis according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.
The Argentine striker joined the French capital city club this past Summer on a season long loan from Inter and PSG have an option to sign him up a sum of €70 million.
Icardi is now set to return to Inter when his loan spell expires at the end of the season but he will not be reinstated at the Nerazzurri, who deemed him to be out of the club’s project when they dealt him to PSG.
The report goes on to claim that Icardi would like a move to Inter’s arch rivals Juventus and it will be far from easy for the Bianconeri to do business with Inter with relations as thorny as ever.
It also goes on to add that Juventus may be able to convince Inter into dealing the 27-year-old be offering a player or players as part of a deal, including Colombian international Juan Cuadrado.
