Olivier Giroud is set to arrive at Inter in the coming months on a free transfer according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The Frenchman’s current contract with Premier League club Chelsea is due to expire at the end of this season and an agreement has already been reached between Inter and the 2018 World Cup winning striker.
As per the report from the Rome based newspaper, Giroud has agreed to a two year deal with Inter with an option to a third year and he has also agreed to take a substantial pay cut compared to what he is currently earning at the London based club.
The 33-year-old had also received an offer from Inter’s fellow Serie A side Lazio but he gave it little thought due to being so set on a move to Inter where he will be able to reunite with former manager Antonio Conte.
