Real Madrid have identified Inter defender Milan Skriniar as a possible reinforcement for their defence ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from Spanish news outlet fichajes.com.

Los Blancos are looking to strengthen their backline due to doubts they have about Jesus Vallejo and Nacho Fernandez and they think that Skriniar could bolster their defence.

Real Madrid previously showed an interest in signing the Slovakian national team defender but baulked at Inter’s €100 million demands for the 25-year-old.

The report from fichajes.com goes on to claim that due to all that is going on in the world now Skriniar’s value, like pretty much every player’s, has plummeted and now he has a value of €48 million.

This season Skriniar has made 32 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has provided a single assist for his teammates.

Aside from Skriniar, the report goes on to add that RB Leipzig’s Dayot Upamecano is also on Real Madrid’s radar.
