Torino would not be opposed to swapping defender Armando Izzo for Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

Izzo has emerged as a transfer target for Inter in recent weeks as reports regarding Diego Godin’s future with the club persist and the Nerazzurri may be able to acquire him in a swap deal.

Torino are on the lookout for some midfield reinforcements ahead of the transfer window and have identified AC Milan’s Giacomo Bonaventura and Inter’s Gagliardini as potential reinforcements.

Gagliardini is not on the transfer list at Inter but is certainly not deemed indispensable and therefore the Nerazzurri and Granata could well do a swap deal involving him and Izzo in the coming months.

This season Gagliardini has made 16 appearances across all competitions in which he has scored two goals and assisted just as many. Izzo meanwhile has three goals in 29 appearances for Torino this term.
