Inter manager Antonio Conte wants Emerson Palmieri brought in to bolster the club’s full back department according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Brazilian born Italian national team player is currently on the books of Chelsea and reports have suggested that the Premier League side would not be opposed to his sale as they need to raise funds to carry out their transfer window business and because they are looking to shake-up their full back department too.
If Emerson, who has previously played for Roma and Palermo, is brought in, it is more likely that Victor Moses would stay opposed to Cristiano Biraghi.
However, the report from the Milan based newspaper goes on to state that if Emerson is not brought in, Inter could go in for Barcelona’s Nelson Semedo and if he is brought in Biraghi would be more likely to stay at the club.
