Getafe midfielder Mauro Arambarri has claimed that recent reports suggesting Inter are interested in signing him have motivated him.
Reports last month stated that Inter had sparked an interest in signing the Uruguayan ahead of the upcoming Summer transfer window and his agent Tito Sierra even commented on the links.
Sierra claimed that Inter have in fact been interested in his client for a number of years and that the 24-year-old would not only be ready to play for Inter but any team in the world.
“It is something that gives me motivation and has made me understand that I am doing good. Whether it’s true or not, it is nice to believe in it in order to give your best. I repeat that it is something that motivates me a lot,” he explained in an interview with Spanish radio station Radio Sport 890 last night.
The former Bordeaux midfielder joined his current employers in the Summer of 2018 and he has a contract with them until the end of the 2022/23 season.
This season Arambarri has made 31 appearances across all competitions to date for Getafe, in which he has scored one goal and provided a single assist.
