In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bozzo, the agent of Inter, Juventus and Barcelona transfer target Sandro Tonali, has spoken on the links among other things.

He started by talking about Tonali as a person and on his client’s debut campaign in Serie A, in which he has earned rave reviews despite the fact Brescia are sitting at the bottom of the table.

“I have known him for two years. I liked him immediately, like his beautiful family. They have all been important for his growth and for managing his reputation. He has passed his debut season in Serie A with flying colours,” he began the interview which appeared in today’s print edition of the Milan based newspaper.

Bozzo proceeded to share his delight at Brescia president Massimo Cellino’s recent commitment to allowing Tonali to make the decision on his future.

“I haven’t spoken to President Cellino, but I have read with pleasure that he wants to give Sandro the last word.”

He then spoke specifically on the links and revealed what he thinks is best for his client to do.

“There are undoubtedly important prospects for Sandro, at his age, few have had this opportunity.

“It’s better for Sandro to stay in Italy. He can immediately establish himself at a top club and it would be a shame for Serie A to lose him.”

Tonali, who has a contract with Brescia until the end of next season with an option to extend for a further season, has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided a handful of assists.
