Inter CEO Beppe Marotta Contacts Brescia Midfielder Sandro Tonali’s Agents

In the past few days Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta has made contact with the representatives of Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali with regard to a possible Summer transfer window move according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Marotta got in contact with Tonali’s representatives in a bid to reach a general agreement over a transfer before then progressing on to hold talks with Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino.

Reports have stated that Cellino will not let the 19-year-old Italian national team player to leave the club for anything less than €50 million whilst some reports have stated Inter would like to do a player(s) plus cash deal for the player, who has been often likened to legendary Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo.

This season Tonali, who has a contract with Brescia until the end of next season, has made 24 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and provided five assists.
