Inter are interested in signing Bayern Munich and Austrian national team defender David Alaba in the upcoming Summer transfer window according to a report from German news outlet Sport 1.
Inter manager Antonio Conte is understood to be a great admirer of the full back and previously tried to sign him whilst he was in charge at Premier League side Chelsea.
Alaba’s contract with the Bavarian club is due to expire at the end of next season and he has also drawn links to Spanish and English clubs.
The report claims that whilst unlikely, a move away from Bayern Munich is still possible for the 27-year-old, who has scored one goal and tallied two assists in 28 appearances across all competitions to date this term.
It also goes on to add that his agent Pini Zahavi is not currently in talks with Bayern Munich over a contract renewal but once Zahavi can get to Munich talks will take place.
