Inter have cooled their interest in Manchester United star Paul Pogba, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how rivals Juventus are incredibly keen to bring the 2018 World Cup winner back to Turin, with Spanish giants Real Madrid moving away from the player. Los Blancos are unsure about signing Pogba due to both his wages and the high cost of the deal and are considering cheaper alternatives due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

Inter are also less keen on Pogba now, the report continues, as the Nerazzurri don’t have an immediate plan to sign the player. The 27-year-old French midfielder has made eight appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 610 minutes. In that time, he has only provided two assists, after struggling with multiple ankle injuries all season. His contract expires with the Red Devils at the end of next season.
