Inter have made an enquiry to Sassuolo with regard to the availability of defender Gian Marco Ferrari according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

Diego Godin appears set to bid farewell to Inter in the coming months, with several reports linking him with a summer move to Premier League outfits Tottenham and Manchester United, and as a result Inter are shopping around looking for a player who can come in and replace him.

27-year-old Ferrari is the latest player on Inter’s radar and the report claims that the two clubs could meet with one another shortly to discuss a potential deal for the former Parma and Crotone man, who previously drew links to Inter back in 2018.

As per the report, Sassuolo value Ferrari, who has a contract with them until the end of the 2022/23 season, in the region of €12-15 million.

Due to a few injuries, Ferrari has found his playing time limited this term with him having made only 14 appearances across all competitions to date.
