Manchester United are preparing an offer for Inter star Lautaro Martinez, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the English newspaper Sunday Express.
The report details how the 22-year-old Argentine striker, who is contracted to the Nerazzurri until 2023, has drawn the attention of many top clubs around Europe this season due to his incredibly strong performances under coach Antonio Conte. The Red Devils are one of the clubs interested in Lautaro and are preparing a huge offer to try and convince him to join the club.
It is likely to have no effect, the report continues, as if Lautaro would leave Inter it would only be for Barcelona. The Blaugrana are hoping to sign the player in a deal worth €60 million plus two players in exchange. Lautaro has made 31 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 2437 minutes. In that time, he has scored 16 goals and provided four assists.
