Inter may offer a discount to Paris Saint Germain on Argentine striker Mauro Icardi in order to close the deal quickly, according to a report from French media outlet Le10Sport earlier today.

The report details how the Parisian club have long been thinking about purchasing the 27-year-old Argentine striker, who joined the club on a season-long loan last summer, with an attached buy option worth around €70 million. His success on the pitch has only further confirmed to the French champions that he is worth the money.

PSG have been trying to ask Inter for a discount on the player, the report continues, highlighting how the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and decision to finish the current season have affected their financial situation.

Inter may be willing to lower his price to around €30-50 million together with a player to be included in exchange, all to ensure that the deal for the player is closed out. The Nerazzurri want to avoid a possible return of Icardi to Milan.
