Inter coach Antonio Conte returned to the Nerazzurri’s training ground in Appiano Gentile yesterday, despite not yet taking a Coronavirus test, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The report details how the Lecce born coach returned to the training ground yesterday, although he remained a safe distance away from all the squad and staff involved in the staggered individual training sessions. The former Juventus coach met CEO Beppe Marotta and discussed the summer transfer window, as well as the season and the training sessions.

Conte was unable to be in direct contact with the squad, the report continues, but did manage to watch all the training sessions. Next week this precaution will be removed, and the former Chelsea boss will be unable to train with his squad again. The Italian government are discussing a possible return to squad training today, with a potential date being the 18th of May.
